Description
Salaat Qadha or Qadha Salat(missed prayers)
Qadha Salat is performed on behalf of your deceased loved ones. Salaat is the fundamental pillar of Islam. It is mandatory (wajib) on every man and woman to perform the daily 5 Salat (prayers) when they reach puberty until their departure from this world to the next. In Holy Quran, the word Salat has been used 81 times. Allah SWT says in the Holy Quran;
And maintain the prayer, and give the zakat, and bow along with those who bow [in prayer]”.2:43
And maintain the prayer and give the zakat. Any good that you send ahead for your own souls, you shall find it with Allah. Indeed Allah watches what you do”.2:110
There are many verses like these in the Quran. It’s an obligation which has to be performed even during sickness. However, sometimes due to lack of knowledge and understanding one fails to perform these obligations until they reach their creator. Even after death, Allah SWT gives us opportunities through our children to fulfill these obligations. Help your deceased and loved ones and help fulfill their responsibilities which they were unable to perform during their lifetime.
