Dua-e-Tawassul or as I like to call it Dua of Miracles. I have been planning on writing about the benefits of this prayer for a long period of time. It has been a few years since I learned about the wonders and miracles this prayer can do. I have spoken to a number of people about it personally and they have seen the miracles this prayer can do. I am sure that many of you recite this on Tuesday evenings, but the key to this prayer is hidden somewhere else.
THE STORY BEHIND THE DUA
On a Thursday morning a few years ago, I and close friend of mine were attending a class on ethics, but for some reason, it was canceled. We were trying to decide if we wanted to have breakfast or go home. A sheik heard us speaking in English, he approached us and inquired where we were from. He asked if we had few minutes to spare since the class was canceled and if we would be willing to talk to him. Same thoughts ran through both of our minds, that he would probably want us to teach him English. We didn’t say anything, it was something he said which made us say yes.
He said ‘you will really benefit and it will be worth your time’ or something along the line. I don’t know what it was but he had our attention. So, we agreed, he said ‘ let’s go and sit somewhere private’. We followed him until we found a quiet place where it was only three of us.
Once we were settled he asked us if we know about the great gnostic (Arif) Mirza Shahabadi (ra) and his sons, at the time both the sons were alive, currently, only one lives. We said yes, we have heard of him. One of the things his son constantly says that whatever my father had it was through Dua-e-Tawassul. I had the opportunity of praying behind him once and had heard about talk about this. His son and I quote
“It has been 40 years since I have been reciting Dua-e-Tawassul”.
This random person starts showing us pictures from his phone and telling us stories of the people whom he had told about this dua and how their lives had changed and troubles were miraculously resolved. It really caught my attention when I saw a picture of someone whom I recognized.
I started to recite the dua on and off until I started to see the benefits. A couple of weeks ago my visa for Ziyarat was rejected. I recited Dua of Miracles and applied again and less that 24 hours, I was in the holy city of Najaf visiting the shrines of Ahl-e-Bait (as).
A few days ago, got a message from a lady who couldn’t bear children and had been unsuccessful for over 21 years.
Every single doctor had given her a negative answer and had given her ultimatum that she needs to undergo “tubal ligation” or commonly referred to as tightening the tubes in order to preserve her health. Another lady, overheard this conversation and had seen the benefits, told her about Dua-e-Tawassul. Hanging on to the last thread of hope, she decided to pursue this course of action, after three months she was surprised, she went back to the Doctors, who were astonished and the only thing they could say was that it is a miracle that she had become pregnant.
No, one in her family believed her. Now she has a 9-month-old baby. One of the great things about this is , that many a time you are given a sign with the number 14 , for instance, this baby was born on 14th Rabi-u-Thani.
This is not the first instance, last year another lady who couldn’t have kids, after 7 years benefited from this and now has a child.
HOW DOES THE DUA WORK?
1 after Fajr
1 for Hajat
You recite one Dua Tawassul in the morning after Fajr (morning prayers), if you are unable to then recite it before Zuhrain (afternoon prayers), and another one for the Hajat that you have
The first one is to get the heart ready and the second one for the Hajat. I have only shared the latest miracle story that I have received, Inshallah I will continue to add the previous ones as well.
It is amazing how wonders and miracles this Dua has. If you try this and your Hajat(s) is fulfilled, would appreciate if you can share it, as it only increases the faith of myself first and others as well.
May Allah SWT accept all our prayers especially the appearance of the Imam (aj) our out time.
